Hello,

I've still been working on the bar graph page, and it is now working great except for one niggling little problem. Have a look at the page at http://www.rayslinks.com/Graph2.html

Just to the left of, and slightly above the number 3600 on the left end of the bar graph, there is a less than "<" character that I cannot get rid of.

I have used gedit's search function to search for the character <, and gedit has bracket matching highlighting, so while the search routine is highlighting the <'s, the bracket matcher highlights the matching >'s. I searched down through the entire page, carefully watching to see a matching pair of brackets each time I clicked the Find button, and there is no extra less than sign in the page anywhere.

The page validates for CSS, and HTML, so that was no help this time.

I have no idea what else could be causing a < to magically appear on the page. I did discover that if I set the background color of the div that the number 3600, and the numbers below it are in, the < disappears, since I have that div's z-order set to 1000, and it covers it up then, but it's still there somehow..

Does anyone have any idea why this anomaly is occurring???

Thanks, Ray Parrish

Sorry about getting the link wrong the first time, it's fixed now. I had index2.html instead of Graph2.html, bit of a typo there!

Later, Ray Parrish

Link doesn't work, but I guarantee it is a typo somewhere.
