USB Question

I just noticed that when I plug in our mp3 player that it pops up saying something like the devise may work better if it were pulged into a high speed usb. Now the only thing I have had to do is reinstall vista, other than that no other big changes have been made. And I don't rember that even after reinstalling vista that it said this. Now it does seem to work ok, so why is it saying this? Do I need to check or do something?

Its just a recommendation.

My work schedule is as follows: Mon and Tues 1800 to 0600, Friday - Sunday 1800EST to 0600, and Wednesday to Thursday 1800est to 0600. So if I do not respond right away I am at work.

Why is it recommending it? Any newer computer or divise you use should be high speed?

It happens to my wife with her cell phone, but we ignore it. Its nothing major.

If it is that big of a concern try connecting it to a different USB port on your computer.
