I have cable internet. My laptop get the internet wireless and my desktop is physically plugged in to the linksys router. I cant get the internet to work on my desktop but it works on my laptop. Modem lights are all on, and the router has all the right lights on. When I go to the network connection it says that the internet is connected. I have tried opening Internet exporler and firefox both. I have also checked the ip addresses and they are different. And when I connect my desktop directly to the modem I have internet. Is this a problem with the router??? Please someone help me!!!!!
