I found one topic on the subject and followed the given instructions:
Try this:
Click Start / Run / type in; regsvr32 urlmon.dll
Click OK.
Repeat for each of the following commands:
regsvr32 mshtml.dll
regsvr32 shdocvw.dll
regsvr32 browseui.dll
regsvr32 msjava.dll
and two of them didn't work
regsvr32 mshtml.dll was loaded, but the DllRegisterServer entry point was not found. This file was not registered.
regsvr32 msjava.dll - LoadLibrary("msjava.dll") failed - the specific module could not be found.
Could someone give me some further instructions?
Also, this is my first post, and the rules for posting didn't say anything about whether or not I should post to another relevant posting that was finished or to post a new one.
Thanks

Not sure what you are asking in terms of archiving. I'm wanting further instructions on the hyperlink issue that I posted in detail and also on whether or not if one finds a similar posting that is completed, does one post to that or open a new posting.
In this particular past posting, the poster obviously had success in registering all the dll's, and so the post was finished. In my case two of the dll's didn't register, of which I posted details on, and am in need of further instructions. So the question was do I post to the prior post or open a new post like I did for this one?
Regards,
Sherman

Hello again
Found another article on the Microsoft site that may explain why it did not work on two of the .dll's:
An Outlook Express basic repair kit
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/IE/commun...s/oerepair.mspx
The above article states the specific .dll's named in your original post are used by Outlook Express.
