HP tx2510us Black Screen Black Screen when booting HP tx2510us tablet pc

Hello,

I have an HP tx2510us tablet pc. When booting all the blue lights turn on but the screen is completely blank. The device does not seem to POST. I have searched and read many forums about issues with the tx1000 and tx2000 graphics chips having a design flaw. There are several tutorials for fixes etc. Those all seem to be related to the Nvidia grapics chip. This laptop has an AMD chip and I'm wondering whether the problem is related or not. I have no problem trying the fix that's posted everywhere for the other models but wanted to be sure its related first. I have tried the usual steps of reseating things etc. Has anyone run into the black screen issue with this particular model with the AMD chip? Any assistance is appreciated.
