Can anybody tell me how I should download the drivers ? Meaning where should I download them to ? Just in desktop (or some area) then let them run or is this something I should put into the C: drive ?
Thanks !
Robert

The post from hamluis is a good place to see how to do it and he already gave you the WWW site for your system to download the stuff. If you don't get it, do this:

Let figure out what you have using Device Manager since msinfo32 isn't cutting it.

Open DM by clicking Start Run and in the box enter:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\devmgmt.msc

Click OK and drag the window around so you can see everything.

Click the plus sign to the left of your Display Adapter to reveal your video hardware.

Highlight (select) your video hardware, right click, Properties, the Driver tab and locate the Driver Provider, Date and Version on the Driver tab and post that back here. The post from hamluis has pictures you can review to see what you need to do.

You can just post the three informations.

Provider:
Date:
Version:

From this Driver tab, you will be able to update the driver if you need to and roll the update back (put back the old version) if something doesn't work right. First we need to see what you have.

Work on that msinfo32 Components, Display thing in your spare time! I don't know why that isn't working.
Jose

hamluis no luck on doing the downloads, seems theres no place for them.... What I mean by that is I tried Jose's way (C:\WINDOWS\system32\devmgmt.msc) to look at the the "Display Adapter" and its not even listed ! If there was some way to copy and paste what it looks like I couldn't find it.... But it all seems (the list) to be there other than the Display Adapter that is......

Wondering what I could have done (or not done) I took the new HD out and put in the old that started all this (that did start working somewhat. last time I tried it) nada still getting just the white screen with the V Class logo ..... Any idea's guys/gals ?
