Internet problems

I've recently been having some major problems with my internet connections using both Mozilla Firefox 3.5.8 and Internet Explorer (which I re-installed to see if it would eliminate the problem). Websites aren't loading and I am getting pages that half load or having problems with formatting. I ran Malware Bytes and CCleaner and the problem had persisted so now I need some more expertise. Can anyone help me with my problem?
Thanks.

They are used to avoid certain tunnels or to route somewhere a specific way.
For example they are used in business for security/ease of organization.
They can be used by viruses to transfer information places undetected.
Commercially they are mostly used for shrouding ones self when illegally downloading things for for getting around firewalls that block content
You may have a hidden one on but I personally feel like something else is going on here, this is a strange issue that could be caused by many things, if it were me i would call you ISP first and ask them. Also ask your neighbors or even try that connection on another computer. Companies can route you different ways on the internet if they are working on or upgrading a main router.
If they blame you or say that nothing else is going on, like i said try it on another computer if you can and get back to us. If the problem persists just let us know and we will help the best we can.
