please help windows 7 partioning

hello i want to install ubuntu and i have windows 7 right now 64 bit

i know how to do the partioning and installing now but i get a eroor message when i try and partion my drive i right click my hard drive which has 280gb free space and click on shrink and then selcte 20gb then go to unaclocated space and then click new voloume then i click next a couple of times and then i get this eppro please help

please help what shall i do i want a duall boot with 7 and ubuntu and also what are the cons/ badd stuff about the wubi installer

You do not have to shrink partition from within Windows. Ubuntu takes care of everything. Just boot from the Ubuntu CD. If you do not want to partition at all, then you can install Ubuntu through WUBI it will take around 6 GB of space (and more of you wish).
