Morrowind III Controls Question

Can you set up Morrowind to play with a controller? I play on a laptop with a mousepad and not an actual mouse so steering and fighting are quite tedious and near impossible.

I have a controller installed that I used for other games but I have not been able to configure Morrowind to use it.

Anyone know if this is possible?
