Desktop freezes sporadically emerging from standby Resumes to normal after 2-2 1/2 mins typically, sometimes less.

Another D'oh moment. I disabled all under the Power Schemes Tab, but not all schemes under the dropdown menu.

I'm on Vista now, but I think, you have to go to "Hibernation" tab and disable that option as well.
If your computer still goes to "standby" mode, you missed something...
