I could use a little help. My son's computer has been 'infected' w/ 'Security Antivirus'. I am trying to disable his real antivirus program (Avanquest System Suite) so that I can run combofix. I have sat for an hour and searched online trying to figure out how to turn it off and CANT!! When i use "ctrl+alt+delete" NOTHING happens. The task manager doesnt pop up. Can you help? Thanks!

Hello, its not recommended to run Combofix on your own. Combofix is a very powerful tool that can cause quite some damage. It should only be used under guidance of a trained helper.

You can try to follow the steps in the Security Antivirus removal guide.
