I can do that...in fact, I had done it to check the name on the card before I loaded windows 7...so I could try and find the cd I couldn't remember if it was a linksys or the Airlink........

Anyway.....right after I replaced the last screw....I think....you know... I prolly should have written down the info off that thing!!!! :trumpet:  :inlove: :flowers: !!!! :woot:

I will take it out a bit later and report back.

Thanks so much Mr. Bruce!!!

You're most welcome  !

I will watch for your post with the card info.
Please take notice. Oreo and I will not be available until June of 2012.
Thank you for understanding my absence, it is job and college related, so all is good. If I do not answer your PMs this is the reason why. See you all soon!

Bruce.

Hi Mr. Bruce!

First...how are you doing with all this snow? Have you been affected by the recent snow storm? I hope you're well, safe and warm!

As for my PCI Card, here's the information off my card.

Thank you again for all your help and I'm anxious to know you're OK.

I found the drivers to your wireless adapter.

On the page you will go to when you click the link below, there are two links. One is your AWLH5026 Driver The other is your adapters Utility program.

That is the the only driver available for your Wireless PCI adapter available from Airlink.

Here's the link to the Airlink101 web site and your download page. http://www.airlink101.com/support/index.ph...files&id=83

The download files are .Zip files, so you can save to disk and transfer it to the other computer. This page tells you how to transfer the files to another computer.

Post back and let us know how you made out please.

Dear Mr. Bruce,

First, thank you for working so hard to help me with this! I'm sorry to say that these drivers don't seem to work either. I'm starting to think perhaps I may not find a solution although I've seen forums where people have gotten their cards to work, I can't find the solution.

Windows 7 is still treating the wireless card as unrecognized software

I've done everything, including utilizing my ethernet cable connection; so I was able to download the driver and utility directly; this still didn't work....unless I'm missing something which in all likely hood I am.

What do I need to know about manually installing drivers? Maybe there's something else I can do that I'm unaware of.

Again, thank you so much for everything... I'm sorry it took me some time to get back to you, but I've been trying to work this out.

Hope to speak with you again soon!

: )
