Hi, Can anyone tell me how to access the BIOS on Acer Aspire 5738z Windows 7.

Press F2 immediately after turning the notebook ON, during POST, while notebook PC logo is being displayed.

Thanks a lot Romeo29. I will use F2 next time instead of Del.
While still on the subject of BIOS. Is there a way how to back-up the bios on an acer aspire notebook rather then having to write it down for future reference.

It is better to manually write down settings on a piece of paper or use a digital camera and take snaps of each screen in BIOS. BIOS backup/restore tools do not work always and may corrupt BIOS making your PC un-bootable (the only option in that case is to send it back to manufacturer). So better stick to manual method.
