hi i have been trying to repait vista but it stays on the repair screen for hours and nothing happens

also i tried to boot into safe mode using f8 but it stays on the loading screen

and nothing happens any thing else i can do before i reinstall vista?

i dont have a recovery partion and

its a dual boot with vista on one hd and xp on the other

Does XP Boot?

Can you get it to a Recovery Console via booting the Vista Install CD?

My work schedule is as follows: Mon and Tues 1800 to 0600, Friday - Sunday 1800EST to 0600, and Wednesday to Thursday 1800est to 0600. So if I do not respond right away I am at work.
