I have 10GB of space used for the Factory Image. I have created backup disks for my Vista machine but don't feel I'll need the Factory_Image partition anymore.
Even if I need to re-install Vista, I'll probably just do it with a Vista disk an not "factory" settings to avoid all the junk.
Can I just format this space?

hello
you can format the recovery partition, if you don't want it anymore, but I think you will need a third party app, as the only option I get when right clicking it is "help" witch is "no help" lol...good luck
ps you can format thru cmd but I don't know if theres a drive letter assigned to the partition you want to format ?
here is a free partition tool (for 32bit only) if you have 64bit just google it theres probably a free one out there... http://www.partition-tool.com/landing/epm-...CFRVc2godvHPDHg
