We have a network of pcs and macs. The macs can see the pcs, but the pcs cannot see the macs. Any help to resolve this would be appreciated. Using Win 2000 pro on the pcs.

i an not a big mac user either, but appple talk is a mac protocol, not a pc. they do both use however tcp/ip suite to communicate with each other. Depending on the "topology" of your network. is it a server/client based model? then yes, you have to install a client and service on the SERVER, not protocols and not on the windows boxes. if it is a peer-peer based network, depending on the OS version, in the network preferences, there is a radio button somewhere as i can remember , to see and share files/folders to/from windows boxes. apart from that, i would be stabbing in the dark.
hope it helps
