Help
Hi I'm new here, I hope I'm posting my question in the correct place! I just have a question that I hope someone can help me with. I have a Dell Dimension E520 w/ Microsoft Windows XP Media Center) It just turned 4 years old at the beginning of the year! I ended up getting a really bad virus, It did it in the background by the time I new what was going on it had already installed itself. My computer was going crazy I couldn't do anything not even to restart it! So the only other option was in turning the hard drive off. When I went to restart it I'm getting a blue error screen...I have already tried everything there is and nothing has worked,
Since I already know that I have to reinstall Windows and start over again my question is since I have to reinstall everything would it be ok and safe to install Windows 7 instead of XP? Any and all help would be very much appreciated! Thank you.
