Is this what you are asking?

Purchased from Dell, Dimension 2400 Series, Intel Pentium 4.

If not where can I find this info?

Thanks for your patience.

Yes. Go to Dell's site, enter your Dell's service tag number, download video driver and install it.

The Dell Dimension 2400 uses the Intel 845 Chipset. Your computer has an integrated Intel 82845 Graphics controller and will use the drivers located here.

Download the file to your desktop. This file will be named win2k_xp14103.exe. Double click on this file and follow the instructions for installation.

Once finished, you will want to reboot your computer. When your computer finishes rebooting, you will now have a Windows Desktop that looks like it should. Nice and clear.

Hope this helps,

I hope I'm not helping confuse things here but I'm not sure which machine we're working on. So, I'm posting driver links for the Video drivers for the Dell Dimension 2400.

Dimension 2400 Video Driver

I checked for Drivers for the Inspiron 530s Desktop and found that the 530s uses multiple different Video Controllers. To help us find the correct driver link for you, can you go into the Device Manager and get the Hardware ID for the "Video Controller" and post back with it if you need.

Location of Hardware ID in Device Manager.

Dell computer are pretty picky about driver, so I think, getting the driver fro Dell's site is the best option.
