Hey all, much help would be appreciated. Laptop died and I got the 2.5" IDE drive out. I plug it into a USB converter which I got today and I plug it in on Vista. The device is seen as a Mass Storage Device in the Device Manager. It always says I can Safely Remove Hardware. The light is green on the converter and the drive is vibrating as I guess its spinning. However it doesn't show up in My Computer.
Any help? :/

Follow this guide to access the Disk Manager tool under Windows Vista.
It should list all drives that are detected, even if they're damaged/won't show up in My Computer.
