Hard Drive Problem

I bought a 1TB Samsung Hard drive.

On BIOS and Device Manager it is visible, but on My Computer it is not. Anyone have any suggestions how can I get it visible ?

Im using Windows 7.

Never Mind.

Fixed the problem. I had Gparted (Its a free linux based software) and booted from it, the drive was visible and made a new 'partition' now it works like a charm.

Well done, a new hard drive must be partitioned before it's visible in My Computer.

But a user can check Disk Management in XP just to ensure that the drive is properly connected, even if it is not partitioned.
