Hello all; just joined. Found the forum when I "Googled" a problem I encountered today and hope members can help me resolve. I'm familiar with this type of forum and am a member of several "automotive" forums so I (hopefully) won't be offending anyone if I might have to ask a "stupid" question. I'll certainly do the requisite "search" on the topic before I ask. I'm not what one might call a computer "geek" or "nerd" but am very comfortable using a computer but am not an IT person nor a computer technician. I can, however, follow instructions. That's it for my introduction. I look forward to making productive use of this forum (and resolving my issue).

Hello akrenz and welcome to Bleeping Computer.

Please take the time, to browse the New User Orientation forum, to help familiarize yourself with how the board works.

Also, don't forget to check out the Tutorials.
There's a lot of very useful information, in there.

The only stupid question is one that is never asked

why won't my laptop work?

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
Do not send me PMs with problems that should be posted in the forums. Keep it in the forums, so everyone benefits
