Hi everyone,

Pleasure to be associated with like minded computer people. I have a problem that I have read post on how to remove it and tried the actions posted to no avail. Maybe I, and I mean I, LOL, didn't perform it correctly. NT Authority shuts down computer. I also get a Data Execution Program error on startup. These may be 2 diff probs. I would greatly appreciate any and all help with this problem. Windows XP Pro. Have tried scanning w/ Malwarebytes, Spyware Doctor and ESET NOD 32. No infections found.

FWIW: Just what did you read, how about a link?

Another FWIW: If you read the entire guide for removal of various malware items...you will note that they are not wriiten as if they apply to every situation. If you were looking at some one's post...their situation probably was not the same, even though you think the apparent symptoms were the same.

What exactly are the error messages you receive?

System manufacturer and model?

Do you have a Microsoft XP install CD?

Louis
