What OS do you want to install.

What are your own system specifications.

If you Google "requirements for installing Windows", you will get numerous links
relating to the different Windows Operating Systems, including KB articles from Microsoft,
which list the recommended specifications.

What do you plan on doing on your computer is the vital question that should be answered?

My work schedule is as follows: Mon and Tues 1800 to 0600, Friday - Sunday 1800EST to 0600, and Wednesday to Thursday 1800est to 0600. So if I do not respond right away I am at work.

How much ram do you have on your system, what is your processor and how big is your hard drive?

Are you going to format the drive before you install?

Is the disk you are using an upgrade version or full version?

I found an acticle from Microsoft that tells what the system requirements are for XP Pro...
