Out of nowhere,

My computer has been freezing constantly. Once it does that - it makes this long beeping noise. What could cause this?

The long beep is trying to tell you something. I suggest you post your computer specs so that Louis or one of the others can zero in on the problem.

System manufacturer and model?

There are differing beep codes or warnings (my first impulse was that yours is a warning of overheating) to be interpreted.

Did the beep stop eventually or did you shut the system off? If it stopped, how long did it last (seconds)?

System freezes can be an indicator of overheating.

How long have these beeps been going on?

The computer was manufactured by a company named Intrex.

The beep never ends which leads to me manually shutting the computer down.

In that case, I suspect that it is an alarm for detecting system overheating.

You can call Intex and try to get them to verify that what you hear is an overheating alarm. If you have your system documentation (owner's manual), you can check that see if such situations are outlined.

The following are general guides for preventing overheating:

Cleaning the Interior of your PC - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/cleaning-the-inside-of-your-pc/.

Computer Cleaning Information - http://www.computerhope.com/cleaning.htm

Is this a laptop or desktop?

That isn't an option with Intrex. It is a Desktop computer

Download cpuz at www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php and tell us what motherboard you have, after that we can go to the site and download the manual and see what BIOS you have. The long beeps indicate CPU Overheating which can be caused by dust in the fan blades and heatsink. Usually a can of air can fix this.

Can you take a picture of the insides of your computer?

One of the most basic things to do...ensure that all fans installed are actually moving/working.

You can also enter the BIOS...and check the registered temperature for the CPU after beeping has started.
