My router has 4 ports and wireless but now it doesn't work with other computers that are plugged in except for one (Even wireless).
In addition, I can no longer access the 192.168.1.1 page and i dont see 192.168.1.1 in the ipconfig /all cmd anymore.
By the way, when I have my cable plug plugged to my computer and then switch it so that my router is plugged, my internet seems to not have been off at all when usually there is a 20 second reconnecting time.
Also the wireless light isn't lit anymore

Have you reset the router?

What do you see when you type ipconfig /all and hit Enter?
Hope this helps Posted Image

There is this tiny red dot behind the router and i use a pen to poke it and held it for 20-30 seconds but nothing changed
I don't see the usual settings because my default gateway is supposed to be 192.168.1.1 or something and now it isn't

My dns servers stayed the same but my ipv4 and default gateway changed i think

ooweirdoo - if you see this before the staff can, delete that image. That is your ISP IP address.

Make sure the plug from the modem is going to the WAN/Internet plug and your PC is plugged into one of the other 4 plugs.

You don't have something plugged in right or the router has been messed with because the IP address you are getting is from your ISP. Like you are connected right to the cable modem.

Double check you have the cable from the modem plugged into the Internet/WAN port. It will be a port different than the others.

What is the make and model of the modem?
