I am having problems typing as I have to hold each key down & wait for it to make a bleeping noise before I can type the next character! We have 3 other account on my computer but only mine is effected. I have bought another keyboard & checked if my keys have been disabled but still no joy! Please can anyone help?

If only one of several users experience a symptom...while the others do not...that would indicate a damaged profile, IMO.

I would try creating a new profile and then moving your settings to it...if nothing else, for comparative purposes.
