I have Windows XP on my computer. For some reason when I am on a web page or a word processor, the taskbar, which usually shows up as a strip right below the screen, does not show up. When I am on my desktop, that strip on the bottom does show up. How can I get it to show up again on the bottom when I am on a web page or any page? Thank you very much. Murrar

Are you sure it's not in full screen mode?
Try hitting the F11 key
If your keyboard has an F-lock key you might need to hit that first

Right click on empty space on taskbar, click "Properties" and make sure, you have a checkmark next to "Keep the taskbar on top of other windows".
