When I go into the control panel and click on user accounts, a white box appears with no options, just nothing but a white screen. It is really hard to do anything on the computer since there is no administrator account or anything. Is there some way to make the user accounts appear because right now it doesnt show anything.

No error messages during boot? Afterward?

Since you get into Windows...there must be some acccount, whether reflected in User Accounts or not.

no error messages. I can't see the accounts or create one, like I said there is no options just a blank screen. I just want to install service pack 2 but it keeps saying access is denied.

OK...what led to this situation?

What occurred that caused the user accounts to go awol?

Why have you suddenly decided to install SP2...when it's several years since SP3 was released as a critical update?

If we can understand what happened, we can try to overcome it.
