I think this is the first Final Fantasy since FFVII to contain black people.

That, in addition to the gameplay that I've seen so far is enough to make me excited for the game.

Hmm, that doesn’t sound too good. I don’t like fast paced battles because it takes the joy of planning different moves middle of battle without hurry. I rather play complete action game in that case. And if the end is like you said I can’t really count this to same game series as few awesome ones in the past.

Every new number seems to be less fun to play than the previous one. I used to get excited about new versions (remember VII, or the great III?); now it seems FF is going the way of many great games---each release has greater graphics, and each is less playable.

VII and IX where 2 of the best in the series, X was ok, XI never took off, XII has yet to entice me to complete it. Will Get XIII when it hits the Sale bin.
