BleepingComputer.com: Internet explorer and Firefox crashes

Hey I'm having a problem with both web browsers. First internet explorer is constantly opening by itself and then crashing instantly giving me the "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close." message, and this just happens constantly over and over, a pop up every few minutes. I've tried to open Firefox and I get the same message only it doesn't open by itself.

I recently got infected with malware and I think I've deleted them all, they were the Vungo Trojan and something called Maldefense. Malware bytes said it deleted Vungo and Maldefense but I'm not so sure. I'm currently using Windows XP Home Edition. I've also run CC cleaner but this did not help at all, currently I'm getting the pop ups now as I type this. Any help is appreciated as I have no idea how this happened.
