Want to build a windows 7 computer

want to build a new computer for windows 7. I like playing games like Dragon age origins, age of conan and world of warcraft. want to make sure that the system can run the kotor mmo coming out. I was thinking of getting an amd phenom II. I have had good luck with AMD's

I like this case Roswell case

so I am looking for suggestions for motherboard, fan and video card.

Maybe I missed it...but I think you also need RAM and a PSU, also.

Your motherboard and CPU...should be thought of as a team, with the additional fact that many motherboards have options that have no interest at all to some users.

yes I do need ram and a psu. not really sure what to look for in a motherboard. I don't want to buy something just because it is on sale. I won't be overclocking or should say I don't think I will be.

For a PSU you will have to research the power needed for the components then IMO buy 100 watts extra so it does not work hard, gaming as we all know is demanding. You will need better than average ram, IMO Corsair has some of the best high end ram. Cooling will be an issue so also take that into consideration, I would research CPU and ram coolers to get the most out of your setup.

You can find the rest of the part your self
Corsair is a good brand for both RAM and PSU
for psu i would consider buying a 700Watt PSU

The GrimReaper's build above is good, though if you plan on using Crossfire and want the best performance with such a setup, a 790FX board is suggested.

I wouldn't go for an open box motherboard since you don't get anything other than the board itself. Here's the non-open box version: MSI 790FX-GD70 AM3 AMD 790FX ATX AMD Motherboard. Also, if you can afford a Radeon 5770, that would be the way to go over the 5750.
