slow computer

hello i dont know if im doing this right. anyway ihave a slow computer and i read on here yesterday stopzilla could be part of the problem. well stopzilla wants another 40.00 so i thought i would try to find somthing better but it seems many sites just want to sell me somthing. so does somone know what the best security suite is? and maybe the place to get the best price?

hmmm I use a combination of AVG and Comodo both being free and reliable. :D

got rid of stopzilla how is avast? thats what i have now. should i switch? computer is e machine xp

You're perfectly fine with Avast. Make sure, Windows firewall is up.

i didnt know they had more than one. it wanted another 40$ for a year if that helps. i know my computer works better since the deletion

Which one you had is a moot point since you've already removed whatever StopZilla product you had and your system is running better.

You asked about security suites, which no one has mentioned yet. The focus is on anti-virus and suites include a firewall.
