media files causes BLUESCREEN of DEATH

Hi, I need help with my computer problem. When I play media files these things happens:

- system pauses for a couple of seconds before it plays
- if it doesn't play, bluescreen appears or crashes down.

I already have installed codecs. I need your help guys please :thumbsup:


OS: windows XP

my computer specs:
pentiumŪ dual-core
e5300 @ 2.60 GHz
2.00 GB of RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT
