computer won't go past start windows normally tried restore discs and didn't help made it worse

I have an emachines computer had a virus that wouldn't let us online so we decided to restore it with restore cds once i restored it with the cds it said to remove the cds and reboot so i did that and now it won't go past the screen that says it was shut down unexpectedly and to restart with safe mode, safe mode w/ networking, last known good configuration, and start windows normally no matter what i choose it reboots and doesn't go any farther HELP ME PLEASE

I would do two things:

a. Run the correct respective hard drive manufacturer's diagnostic on your hard drive.

b. Try the recovery/restore mechanism again, after favorable results from the diagnostic. If no favorable results, then please post same.

What model eMachines system?

How large is C: partition?

Please post exact content of any error messages which occur.
