Hi all,
please I have a problem with Office 2003 under XP, autoupdate set.
Since one day, it does not remember the page setting I use (A4) and always sets Letter. The default for the printer is A4, too. The printer is accessed from the shared machine, XP, autoupdate off. On the shared machine works, so far. The printer is Canon MF5550, for USA. Used under spanish windows.
Please do you have some suggestions?
Bye Jakub

Try renaming normal.dot to abnormal.dot.

Windows will then replace the normal.dot word template and you can reset your settings.

I found that this problem is present in all apps, but only with Canon MF5550. Somehow it ignores the default settings on the computer using it (shared) from another computer.
Bye, Jakub
