I have been trying to find a laptop or a monitor that is viewable in direct sunlight. Years back, some manufacturers offered a trans-reflective screen that actually used the sun's light to create a bright, clear screen. Does anyone know of manufacturers who offer that technology or know of any recent improvements. My use will be on a boat so the product also needs to handle vibration.

Anti-glare screen filters:

For vibration, I would use some thick, dense foam insulation
Cut some squares and glue them to the bottom while taking care not to block and vent holes

Mark
why won't my laptop work?
Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around

A simple anti-glare screen ought to do the job.
