Where to find a FREE emachine operation disk

My desk top emachine just went ckunk, it has a black screen that reads : Boot Manager Compress ,

it is reading Ctlrl Alt Delt to restart computer but when I do it comes right back to the same screen.

I don't have a recovery disk.

If I go into Bios., then Boot drive order it reads : CD Rom but nothing happem,

Help.

I'm not sure if they charge or not, but your best bet would be to contact emachines

Hello and thanks, yea I did that I know I get wipe it clean but tere were some pictures that I did not want to lose. I am not sure if that is what the problem is, I am just guessing. Thanks for a respond, will stay in touch everyone. Happy New Years.

You can move any data files...from the hard drive...by attaching it to another system as a secondary drive temporarily...and moving your files before you attempt any repair/restore effort.

Apart from what hamluis suggested, you could also try running a linux-based LiveCD on your system, to try accessing your hard disk.
Remember to set the CD Drive as the primary device in the boot sequence (BIOS) first.
