water cooling upgrade need help!!!

my case is getting HOT!!!!! like 51C and thats a case temp..........im believing its from my 2 Radean 4870's, cuz when i feel them they r very hot and give off lot of heat, sooooo im looking at a liquid cooling solution for the video cards and my cpu: AMD 955 x4 black addition (am3 socket)

was just wondering about the parts i will need and if u all have any suggestions for parts.....i getting one for a cpu will be easy, but im clueless when it come to cooling the video cards....and can i link the cpu and cards together or will i need 2 separate units?

thanks...at least now i know its not hurting anything....but i would still like to know the parts for liquid cooling i would need for the dual cards and for the cpu......just trying to get a price range mostly...to see if its cheaper than getting a store to install and buy the parts for me, cuz i know buying the parts for a pc is cheaper than out of a store.

The stock dual-slot (assuming it is) cooler on the cards should do a decent job.
Maybe a driver update could fix the Fan Control, to perform effectively.

The good thing with the X2 is that the cooler is dual-slot, and uses the colder air inside your PC to cool down the GPUs and then blows it away (exhausts) it at the rear of the card, outside of the PC.

By the way, a LOT of heat is disposed outside the PC by the 4870 X2. Here's something to think about. If you game long enough in Crossfire, a small room will actually warm up. I'm not kidding.


So you need to enhance the ventilation of your cabinet, by adding some powerful suckers (fans). :thumbsup:
