Seasoned IT person since 1979, came up thru the ranks of mini and mainframes, then to the TRS 80, then ??? I own a consecutive run of DOS versions from 1-6 (and even DR dos 7 I think). I remember very well Windows 286 and Windows 386. Peter Norton, BBS's and non internet communication (rs232c. ie telephone). Anyone remember when you had to low level format a hard drive by going into debug and using the code g=c800:5? Ok enough. So I am an antique. My current duties are mostly server, telephone and layer 2 & 3 networking, but by my mere association with computers, I am many peoples "go to" person for PCs. Hopefully this forum will help me, and hopefully I will be able to reciprocate.
