Hi,

Can my Windows XP Pro OEM Version CD be installed on any Computer which has a Windows XP Pro OEM COA sticker on its side?

And is this 100% Legal if I use the other persons COA sticker to install my XP CD onto their Computer?

Thanks.

:flowers:

As long as the Access Code is Legal, Any Legal Copy of Windows for that Version can be used to reinstall Windows.

If it has a Sticker it means that Windows for that Sticker has already been installed, so you are doing a reinstall, not a Fresh, Virgin install.

If they have changed Hardware dramatically they may need to seek Help from M$oft during activation of the Access Number, not through using the Disk.
