This is my first post so if I'm in the wrong place please let me know.

While I was out of the room my cat walked on my keyboard and managed to rotate the screen info 90 degrees to the left. The top is now on the left, bottom is at the right side, etc. I don't know how she did it and I don't know how to fix it. (Windows Help hasn't been any help at all.) Can anyone help? TIA

if this is a laptop.. it could just be the FN key and up and down button or the left and right button.

if that doesnt work.

right click on the desktop.

go to properties.

go to settings

go to advance.

there should be option there for rotation of monitor.

Guessing you are running either an ATI or Nvidia card. Access their display utility. Should be an icon on the lower right hand corner of your task bar. Or right click on the Desktop > Properties or there may be a right-click entry for Nvidia\ATI. Somewhere within their video manager there will be a way to rotate the screen. Perhaps Control panel > Display or Nvidia or ATI.

Sorry I can`t be more specific.

Also try depending on your video card:

Just to clarify the whole keyboard shortcut comment by wagger, it goes like this:

ctrl+alt+ (arrow)

where (arrow) is:

Up arrow - normal orientation
Down arrow - upside down
Right arrow - Right side of screen is top
Left arrow - left side is top.

Much easier than having to go through the properties.
