Best time to buy a new computer

Looking to buy a new desktop computer,when is best the time of year to get a good deal ?

Right now would be as good a time as any, since there are sales going on because of the holidays.
Also in August/September for back to school deals.

But all in all there are always deals going on, so anytime is just as good as another.

If you have a good idea about what you want to buy after doing research, just watch for pre- and post-seasonal ads from companies you trust. Now is an excellent time to look.

Not sure of what l want but l have a budget of up to £1000. I'm thinking of buying maybe Dell or Mesh. :blink:

Agree, now is the time to look/buy.

In addition to the reasons posted...Dec 31 is year-end for many manufacturers and inventory markdowns are mandated for various items formerly priced higher.

Dec-Jan is the period for "bargains" for the patient shopper who is willing to do the research and isn't interested in today's "latest/greatest".
