Here are my answers to your questions
It is hard to tell from Task Manager which items start. Please go to Start->Run>Msconfig. Go to the startup tab, and take screenshots of those.
Wmiapsrvs.exe can be a worm, but it can also be a legitimate part of Windows. It is fine that you disabled it though.
That will be taken care of on the items that I see from Msconfig
If those other machines are having performance issues as well, then it might be Symantec. But if they aren't then it should be fine to leave on.

Thanks for your reply.
Attached are 2 screenshots of the Startup Tab, as you requested. If I can also turn off the HP startup too, that would be great. It keeps letting me know that my two HP printers aren't connected on every startup.

Here's the second startup tab document. I must have forgot to upload it to that last reply...

The second document doesn't seem to be uploading for some reason, but it just shows the last line in the startups "Microsoft Office" as a Common Startup...

I am actually not sure about that. I would start another topic in the XP forum regarding that one
