My son received Polar golf for Christmas and I can not get the game to run. The game begins and then hangs up as you proceed to the first hole. The following is the error from the event log:

Faulting application golf.exe, version 1.0.0.1, faulting module golf.exe, version 1.0.0.1, fault address 0x0006b8a9.

Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated because my 5 year old wants to see if his new baseball bat will fix it. Sorry my trouble shotting skills are limited.

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around

Uninstall it and make sure nothing else is running when you install it again
Maybe even try to install in safe mode, if possible

I would try updating drivers

Sound card - Graphics card - Chipset drivers
