ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:I mainly watch anime/movies and play playstation emulators. I want a computer that will let me play FO3, Oblivion, Dragon Age and newer games

I got a GeForce 9600 GT for cheap a while back but found out my power supply (in my current computer) was too low. So I figure I'll use that until I get sick of it and buy a newer one.

I'm trying to build a computer for the first time. I just want someone who has experience in this stuff to double check my setup and tell me if all the parts are compatible and anything else I should look out for.

It looks good, but be aware that you cannot use SLI with this motherboard using your NVidia GPU. Also, the motherboard will not offer the best speed with Crossfire since, using the 790X chipset, two graphics cards in the PCI Express X16 slots will have their speeds slowed to 8X. If you are going to use Crossfire in the future, you may want to get a 790FX motherboard if your budget allows. I also suggest getting a different hard drive, the Western Digital Caviar Green WD5000AADS 500GB 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb comes with a 32MB cache for increased speed. Finally, you can use that RAM if you wish, but the motherboard will downclock the memory since the motherboard can handle RAM up to DDR3-1200. I also suggest swapping out the optical drive you've selected to the LITE-ON DVD Writer - Bulk - Black SATA Model iHAS224-06 LightScribe Support as it writes in more formats for the same price. On a different note, looking over your list you have your monitor resolution at 1024x768 which is very low. Any 1080i/p content you run will not look too good given the low res.

that is my moniter that i bought.......dont know how much u are willing to spend on one...but this is one of the best ive ever seen

its big, 2ms responce time, picture is flawless, no dead pixels, not too shiney, and just looks sleek
