Being in the home repair business I must say one of my most loved/needed tools is the Fein Multimaster.

When Dremel introduced the Dremel Multimax (a similar copy) I was ecstatic and bought one right away.

The Dremel lasted about a month and died.

So if you need it for more than an occasional use ....get the Fein Multimaster.

I looked at one before and figured it was rather underpowered
I tend to bog down their regular rotary tool a lot also

why won't my laptop work?

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around

I made the mistake of buying a cordless Dremel rotary.

I used it about a minute, realized how weak it was cleaned it up and returned it.

Now the Fein Multimaster rocks!

I'm disabled now and cannot justify buying new toys tools but I sure could have used one twice already

Treat it gently and it will probably be o.k.
I use tools for a living and require the Fein Multi Master to hang in there.

LOL forgot about this thread.

Me too, (as far as using tools for a living). I finally broke the Fein out and it is FINE. Another carpenter buddy had told me about it maybe 6 months or a year ago but since I have been trying to get OUT of contracting, I didn't really investigate it. I looked online one time before Christmas and my wife saw me so she snuck me one for Christmas lol.

Well, you know as well as I do Martel that you one just CAN'T get out of home repair, so despite my many vows to "NEVER FIX ANOTHER #$%#@#$$#@ HOUSE AGAIN FOR SOME #$%#@$$#@$## IDIOT HOMEOWNER" I'm back in business again. Man that multi tool is sweet. How did we ever get along without it?

So how DO us old redneck carpenters transfer building houses and buildings into building computers? A computer "tool-belt" is SO much lighter than a carpenters............
