Backed up files in my ehd after scanning i found a trojan in my back up files

hi
i have over 235GBs in my Western Digital ehd after i installed bit defender and did a deep scan it found a trojan in my ehd
i unzipped the file and deleted the trojan

my question can i rezip the file as they are in sequence what happens if there is a unzipped file
in amongst all the zipped files

Well, if you have unzipped the zip file into a folder and have removed the trojan from there, you can safely zip that folder again with the filename intact. It will replace the original zip file though(unless you have already deleted it).

One thing to keep in mind...every AV program or other malware-prevention/detection program...is just as capable of false positives as any other.
