RAM Upgrade Help Windows 7 64 Bit RAM

Hi, I currently purchased Windows 7 64 bit. The Windows 7 upgrade advisor says that i meet all requirements except RAM. I currently have 1 GB on Windows XP, and i'm wondering what you would recommend.

I have a custom computer, pretty much 160 GB HD, AMD Athlon 64 (3700+), 2.21 GHZ, with ATI Radeon Express crossfire.

dxdiag says that its an AMD Solo...? and price range is <80$ if possible but not strict.

Btw i need this info quick because if i can get an online deal i need tonight to get it by christmas.

Download this: HWInfo32
Run the application and you'll see the motherboard manufacturer and model.

Hmmm...was unable to pull out info on an AMD solo board.

So, open HWINFO32, Click on Memory and post a screenshot of the entire window.
That should help.

Sorry about the delayed response.
Here's what you need:

Kingston 2X1GB DDR PC3200

1GB in two slots.

Or 512MB in four slots. :thumbsup:

For future reference, your Memory module type: PC 3200 DDR Ram , Cas Latency : 3

That's not compatible.
I suggest you stick to the DDR PC 3200 modules.

Because you don't get a single 2GB stick for DDR PC3200, you need to buy a minimum of two sticks.
i.e 1GBX2, 512MBX2 etc...
