Usually, but not always, when I 'reply' to an email in Outlook, this message "Startup cannot open file ~$nereader6.sprint.dot comes up. If I just cancel all the way out and close the blank Word page, the email reply button opens a normal word page to do the reply on. I want to fix this, but need someone to tell me how. Thanks, ken

Have a look at this item - the file needs to be deleted:

http://en.allexperts.com/q/Microsoft-Word-...ord-2003-23.htm

Otherwise, you always have the option to 'Detect and Repair' from the help menu.

I found the file was from ABBYY Fine Reader 6.0 Sprint and the .dot file was in the Documents & Settings/Administrator...Startup Word 2003. So I deleted it per the allexperts source you listed.
I also removed the ABBYY program as I've never used it to my knowledge. Thanks, Ken

See previous post regarding removing ABBYY Fine Reader 6.0 Sprint. When I reboot I get a message window on my desktop that says "Error - IM32FAXDIL Not Found!" with an OK button to dismiss the message. I do not know if these two things are related or not. How can I fix this? Thanks, Ken S.

Do you have a Lexmark printer - if so, see this link:

http://www.techtalkz.com/software-troubles...m32fax-dll.html

"Error - IM32FAXDIL Not Found!" - Is this actually "Error - IM32FAX.DLL Not Found!" ?

If you type Error - IM32FAX.DLL Not Found! into Google, there are many links
which you can look at.

Pete, Thanks for the quick response, and my printer is a Lexmark X7170. In my control panel, there are two Lexmark programs: 1) "Lexmark 7100 Series" 164.00MB which I reinstalled from the printer CD, and 2) "Lexmark7100 Series Fax Solutions" also 164.00MB. I cannot remove that program, the Uninstall wizard box shows up momentarily and goes away. Are these two different programs, or the same program with different/similar names?? What next??
Yes, I see numerous solutions in the Google search mostly to do with uninstalling and reinstalling the software from the Lexmark printer CD. Thanks, Ken S.

(I don't have a Lexmark).

The program sizes being identical could just be a coincidence
but as they are identified differently, it should be possible to remove both and reinstall.

If they won't go from Add / Remove, or will not uninstall
using your Lexmark CD(s) you could try the REVO uninstaller,
which has been used successfully by many members of this forum,
in dealing with stubborn programs.

Reboot before reinstalling.

Revo got rid of the extra Lexmark program. After a reboot, I reinstalled from the CD and there's now just one instance of the Lexmark program. The other must have been leftover from getting the printer set up to work on my wireless network for the new laptop a few weeks ago. Everything seems to be working fine and the error - IM32FAXDLL not found did not appear when I rebooted. However, the Abby Fine Reader 6.0 Sprint is back in the program files, but is not causing a problem now. Thanks, Ken S. (No Global Warming In Michigan USA)

Abbey Fine Reader OCR often comes bundled with other software.

The reinstall seems to have avoided the previous problem.

Cheers from a cold UK.
