If any of you saw my last topic with installing the printer, that went away.

I just bought a new printer and on the last step, I keep getting "
Fatal Error 'Error 1316. Network error occurred while trying to read <FILE PATH AND NAME>.msi."

I used the windows installer clean up utility to completely erase erase everything from my last printer, and i did a level 4 uninstall. I just keep getting it! It's starting to get ridiculous.

Can anyone help resolve this?

I don't know where your previous thread is can you provide a link or tell us what model printer you now have and what kind of computer you are using. Also how are you connecting the printer USB, Wired network, Wireless network?

You are installing the software before attaching the printer to the computer, correct?

Sorry for the late replys. I really hope you guys can come back to this thread.

While I was trying to install my printer, my USB was disconnected from the printer.

And at the first post, my printer is connected to my computer through a USB.

Go to your Device Manager and click on all of the +'s by USB
Are there any yellow exclamation points or red X's?
